Dorie Flynn is the Executive Director of the Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities (MANSEF) – a nonprofit association of schools serving children with disabilities. In this capacity for 19 years, she lobbies for 85 nonpublic special education facilities all across Maryland serving approximately 4000 students. The nonpublic special education schools for children with disabilities are part of the education continuum mandated by federal and state law. She also directs the MANSEF Consortium, a wrap-around program of related services and supports for the state of Maryland. 
Prior to working at MANSEF, Dorie was the Director of Program Development for the Devereux Foundation in Maryland, supervising social workers and four therapeutic group homes.
Dorie obtained a Masters of Arts in Management with a concentration in Leadership from the College of Notre Dame in Maryland in 1997.
