Your First Call

The Down Syndrome Association of Maryland provides information and support to newly-diagnosed families. We do our best to suggest resources that are relevant. And we coordinate a team of trained, volunteer Parent Mentors who are there to listen, understand, and provide both a sounding board and a source of ideas. We aim to be your First Call after receiving a Down syndrome diagnosis.

Our team is undergoing multi-county First Call training with the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress in 2022 and will thereafter be recognized officially as a national First Call program partner.

If you have recently learned that your baby has Down syndrome, if you need answers, support or just need to talk to someone who's been through this, please contact our First Call team at 443-300-6972 or FirstCall@DSAmd.org. All correspondences are confidential. Click Here to download our First Call Program brochure.
